So this is a drawing done with natural media...
And natural media can inform, can inspire your digital media work. Look at how these random seeming lines create an image of an eye.
Are they really random? Yes some are, but most of them are deliberate, adding together to make light and dark areas and directions that make the eye shapes. The random lines are perhaps added later?Definitely the lines are dynamic and have a quick sketch quality.
You could do this with a mouse or better use a tablet to make lines like these in Illustrator/Gravit.
