This weeks' example:
This is a map of the most photographed places in the world.
Interesting and beautifully colored!
There is no need for a key reference to the color coding. Your focus is automatically drawn to the warmest color first: the most photographed places. Then progressively to the less photographed places, indicated by the cooler colors, in order—yellow, red, purple, violet, greens.
The background is a bit too dark and the ocean labels are unnecessary and clutter the graphic.
