Following the Breath

Breathing in, I calm my body.

Breathing out, I smile.

Dwelling in the present moment,

as the in-breath grows deep,

Breathing out brings me ease.

This wall is in Belfast, Ireland, separating the Catholic and Protestant factions in the old part of the city to keep the peace.

I like the way that the black horizontal lines
look like trees (because they very in width) and
they are also like prison bars.
