Following the Breath

Breathing in, I calm my body.

Breathing out, I smile.

Dwelling in the present moment,
I know this is a wonderful moment!

Breathing in, I know I’m breathing in.

as the in-breath grows deep,
the out-breath grows slow.

Breathing in makes me calm.

Breathing out brings me ease.

With the in-breath, I smile.

With the out breath, I give in.

This weeks’ example:

 

Black Bird art

 

I found these flowers and amazing leaves on a walk in Sandpoint Idaho.

With the detailed strong contrasting the dark green and white of the leaves' variegation. The leaves seem to be pillowy frilly lace.

The yellow flowers like soft pompoms.

The dark rough texture of the dirt.

Lots of kinds of contrast!

The colors are analogous, greens and yellows, they go together and yet they contrast too.
