This weeks’ example:
Talk about framing. This boy’s face is totally framed by the ring light.
The ring light and the boy’s eyes are centered in the picture frame.
Notice that the total blackness at the top contrasts with the lighter tones of the boy’s body at the bottom. The dark break where the boy’s hands are gripping the circle of light contrasts with the bright unbroken ring at the top. The top third seem infinite and light, bigger than the bottom third, even when it is not.
