You now need to develop an EASY and QUICK way for people to understand what KIND OF JOB you are looking for and what SKILLS, TRAINING and EXPERIANCE you are offering to them.

IMAGINE... that you are getting on an elevator. The doors open and you get in. They close. You look up and... There is that person, right next to you! The one that can hire you and give you the job that you are DIEING to HAVE. You have that one short ride to the 40th floor to tell and sell yourself... THE ELEVATOR PITCH.
   

You have 3 things to tell...

1. WHAT TYPES OF THINGS YOU LIKE TO DO.

2. WHY YOU LIKE TO DO THEM.

 

3. HOW YOU CAN ADD TO VALUE TO AN ORGANIZATION.

THE SECOND SECTION...  
 

The next SECTION, the second section should be titled: “Elevator Pitch” Make that Heading 1 style.

Type the three points that you must cover and write your dialogue about them.

1.WHAT TYPES OF THINGS YOU LIKE TO DO.

2. WHY YOU LIKE TO DO THEM.

3. HOW YOU CAN ADD TO VALUE TO AN ORGANIZATION.

Make the typed points Heading 2 style. Write your dialogue in a speaking voice: as if you were speaking, not in formal writing style. You will later be saying these things to the person that you are interviewing for the job with. REMEMBER YOU WILL ONLY HAVE ABOUT 5 MINUTES TO SAY IT ALL!

 

REMEMBER: this is your document, you choose what fonts, sizes, styles, colors, layout, graphics and picture to use. Be creative. Be you.
