This weeks' example:
Oooh! The atmosphere created by the mist and the ambient street lighting!
The grainyness of the mist is hightened by the high ISO. It all adds to the gritty feel.
There is a lot of depth to the photo, created by the receeding objects and the light cast diagonals. There is nothing moving, yet there is a lot of movement, the mirk and grain help.
Calm and yet dynamic even though it is a low contrast image, lots of mid grey tones, some highlights, and almost no deep darks.
