Syllabus

This is my 16th year teaching at Mt. Eden, where I am a teacher/farmer. Along with teaching computer skills, Digital Media, Art and Photography, I sow the seeds for social justice, mindfulness, respect, self-worth and resilience. If I do have something to teach you, you also have a lot to teach me and I am eager to learn from you all.

In my progressive roles as a UC Santa Cruz lecturer, preschool and middle-school teacher, camp counselor and scout leader, I have worked with children from ages 3 to 45. Prior to those teaching gigs I worked, in the “real world,” alternatively as a science illustrator, graphic artist, user interface designer and computer programmer.

When I am not here in the classroom, I am in Santa Cruz haging-out by the ocean that I love. And... I am on the road a lot!
